Courgettes

Ingredients:

2 lb/800 g courgettes
juice of 1 lemon
salt
plenty of freshly ground pepper
4 fl oz/100 g cream
Tabasco sauce
4 oz/100 g mild grated hard cheese, e.g. Gouda or Edam
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Cooking time about minutes
Approx 200 kcal = 837 kj



Preparation:

Wash the courgettes thoroughly, trim off both ends and cut into thick slices. Place them in the moistened RÖMERTOPF, seasoning every layer with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix the cream with the grated cheese, the parsley and the Tabasco sauce. Pour over the courgettes. Close the lid.
