Spicy White Cabbage or Spicy Savoy Cabbage

Ingredients:

2lb/1000 g yopung white cabbage or Savoy cabbage

2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp oil
a little allspice
a pinch of cumin
salt
parika powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp raisins
4 oz/125 g yoghurt
Cooking time about 40 minutes
Approx 150 kcal = 627 kj


Preparation:

Prepare the cabbage and cut coarsley. Put it into the moistened RÖMERTOPF, together with the chopped onions and the garlic. Mix all the other ingredients thouroughly and pour over the cabbage.

Variation:

Spicy Cabbage
Sprinkle 4 oz/125 g steak tatar or very lean minced beef over the cabbage. Mix 9 fl/oz/250 ml stock with 1 tbsp tomato paste and 2 eggs, season with salt and pepper and pour over the cabbage. Sprinkle with 3 oz/100 g coarsley crumbled feta cheese 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
